Pushbutton Interface
PDN2008
The PDN2008 debounces up to eight independent pushbuttons, operating in both directions for active high and active low inputs. Working with both mechanical and membrane buttons, the PDN2008 eliminates all contact bounce noise and glitch activity to provide single clean, stable pulse to the host microcontroller.
PDN2108
The PDN2108 emulates a mechanical 1-ox-x assembly using standard momentary pushbuttons as inputs. The active high output corresponds to the most recent button pressed. Two versions of this IC are available: the 2108A, in which one channel is always active, and the 2108D, in which pressing the button of the currently active channel turns the output off. The PDN2108 works with standard momentary or membrane pushbuttons and allows the replacement of costly mechanical assemblies in selection circuitry. Outputs are clean, debounced signals.
PDN2208
The PDN2208 IC converts momentary pushbuttons into latching (toggle) outputs. Eight independent channels provide latched on, latched off function when pulsed by their respective momentary input. Working with all mechanical and membrane buttons, the PDN2208 provides glitch-free, clean toggles that are ideal for status indication or microprocessor input.
